If a restaurant were to ever embody the perfect marriage between luscious meals, impeccable service, and incomparable ambiance, Mirazur would be it. It is a true representation of skill built around the best Côte d’Azur location there could ever be overlooking the sea at the French/Italian border.

Mauro Colagreco, an Argentine-born culinary genius,heads the team; he does his job perfectly. With his vivacious Brazilian wife Julia beside him, magic takes place. Mirazur has adopted sustainability, changes its menu frequently and is the first certified plastic-free restaurant in the world.

Now let’s talk about the food! It’s a symphony of flavors and textures, with the freshest vegetables sourced from local farms. The courses are very creative. My personal favorite starter dish is black truffle grilled cheese- a luxurious dish that I could eat all day long. Other starters include Gillardeau oysters with shallot cream and William’s pear. 

Other standouts (but they are all standouts!) include the ragout of fava beans and green peas, the “mangetout” and the beetroot, caviar, and buttermilk dish which is one of the chef’s signature dishes.

Mirazur is committed to art and innovation. After a temporary shutdown during the global pandemic, Mirazur reopened with a new Lunar menu inspired by the cycle of nature. It is divided into four parts, each inspired by the biodynamic calendar. Mirazur celebrates 15 years of culinary excellence this year and constantly reinventing itself. With its patrons and ingredients at heart, Mirazur remains a lighthouse in terms of culinary perfection that will illuminate the path to exemplary dining in years ahead.
